The walk will meander through the glorious Sneed Park, taking in the majesty of these ancient woodlands and learning how best to capture them on camera.
Led by experts in tree identification, the walk will visit some of the trees that have stood in the woods through the centuries. During our walk, we will learn how to identify ancient or veteran trees and discuss how critical they are for supporting thriving ecosystems.
We will also be accompanied by professional photographers and local legends, the Boys in Bristol as part of their incredible Bristol Parks Project. They’ll provide tips and tricks for capturing these trees in the evening’s golden hour.
We hope participants will submit their photographs for our Ancient Trees Photography competition: a project funded by the Woodland Trust.
