Description
This circular walk is full of interest.
We start by walking through Badocks Wood, cross the River Trym and follow paths to open ground near the former Brentry Hospital.
We continue through woods to pass the Pen Park Hole, a site of special scientific interest, then on to Filton Golf course and Pen Park playing fields for a coffee break.
A stretch of road walking follows before we join the footpath along the River Trym back to Badocks Wood to return to the start.
Mainly flat, with two short uphill sections.
Please bring your own refreshments for the break during the walk.
