Description

Travel back to the first night of the Bristol Blitz on this unique, subterranean walking tour.

Your WW2 Air Raid Warden will guide you through Blitz damage above the street before heading underground to explore our fabulously well preserved air raid shelter.

See original posters and even beautiful drawings still visible after 80 years.

Hear about how the face of the city changed forever before enjoying demonstrations of artefacts from our extensive museum collection.

You’ll then finish amid the wonderful food and independent traders in St. Nicholas Market.

The jewel in Bristol’s historic crown.

Please note, although the length of the walk is short, there is a set of stairs when entering the air raid shelter.

Starting Point

The main entrance of the Corn Exchange, Corn Street, BS1 1JQ
