Join tour guide //Kabbo Hue Qua Tura on an exciting tour of Bristol’s Cultural Quarter and the storied ward of St Paul’s.
We’ll explore the differing cultural contributions and economic factors that have shaped this vibrant, diverse and storied part of Bristol city in the 21st century.
The tour celebrates the contributions made by people of African descent to the city culturally, politically and economically by celebrating the Windrush Generation and the Bristol Bus Boycott.
Part of the tour includes the 7 saints murals, cultural institutions and challenges the community centres are facing. We explore the influence St Pauls-based artists have had on Bristol and in Massive Attack, the world.
The Bristol Cultural Quarter Tour is running concurrently and in addition to our “Decolonising Bristol: In The Moment” tours happening on the day/s before.
It is the 2nd leg of the broader cultural offering by //Kabbo Hue.
