On this journey, we will travel through Bristol’s geological past and connect the rocks beneath our feet and in the building around to the history of Bristol.
Starting at the Clifton Suspension Bridge, we take in fabulous views of the Avon Gorge and the Bridge and learn about the geological foundations of the city.
Spotting fossils along the way, we will end at Clifton Observatory with a spectacular view over the city.
The walk is on pavements, mostly flat with a slight incline up to the Observatory and is suited to people with reduced mobility and wheelchair users.
