Description

Explore some of Clifton’s celebrated and lesser-known sites at your own pace on a walking tour that traces the area’s development from a small hamlet to the thriving and eclectic area we know today. The tour is provided through the VoiceMap walking tour app. This uses your phone’s GPS to guide you around the walk and to deliver the commentary. Feel free to stop along the way or take diversions – the app will get you back on track. You will just need to plug in your headphones and then your phone can be put away. This one-hour walk is shaped like a figure of eight, and can also be enjoyed as two shorter walks. The route is 2 miles (3 kilometres) long and involves some hills, steps and road crossings.
