Fresh from their globe arts tours with The World Reimagined and involvement in the Decolonising Memory project, join tour guides Cleo Lake-Ayiih and Kabbo Hue Ferdinand on an extensive and thought provoking tour of central Bristol through some of the street names and architecture connected to the transatlantic trade and trafficking in enslaved Africans.
The tour also explores a more contemporary look at the contributions of people of African descent to the city of Bristol.
Part of the tour includes the use of an augmented reality app on a smartphone which can be downloaded in advance or let us know if you need to borrow a device.
The app provides alternative narratives and creative interpretations in order to see the city scape from a new perspective.
