Description

Join tour guide //Kabbo Hue Qua Tura on an extensive and thought-provoking tour of central Bristol, including the names and architecture built from the transatlantic trade and trafficking of enslaved Africans.

The tour explores contemporary narratives in deepening our understanding of the unappreciated African contribution made from a historical and cultural perspective.

Taking in sights, sounds and imaginative explorations of how Bristol came to be; unpacking its myths, legends and historical happenings while celebrating its cultural diversity.

Part of the tour includes using an augmented reality app which can be downloaded in advance or let us know if you need to borrow a device.

The app provides alternative narratives and creative interpretations of seeing the cityscape from a new perspective.
