Description

In this 2-hour walk through beautiful countryside south of Bristol, you will get to know the land as well as connect with the past and the great flow of life that has brought us into existence!

We will walk at a steady pace to suit the needs of the group, and there will be pauses as we step through Deep Time – the epic journey that has formed this landscape and that will continue beyond our lives.

You will be invited to share reflections with others in the group as part of this. The route is gently undulating fields and mostly without steep inclines. We will visit the Stanton Drew ancient standing stones site along the way.

This practice is drawn from the Active Hope work by Joanna Macey and others that invites us to see with ancient eyes, offering new perspectives to this short time we have on earth.
