Description

The walk will follow the path of the River Frome, stopping at Fishponds Brook for a short river dipping session to find invertebrates and fish in the river.

The walk leader will talk about the Frome and the wildlife that lives there, as well as the work of Bristol Avon Rivers Trust, including pressures rivers are facing and solutions to these problems.

However, the main objective is to just enjoy nature!

Children are welcome, though any under 18s must be accompanied by an adult. A scavenger hunt sheet will be provided for children to spot things along the way.

There are toilets at the Eastville Park car park.
