Description

Come and enjoy a leisurely sensory walk around St George Park, taking a slower pace to allow you to explore your surroundings in a more mindful way.

This walk is designed for children with complex disabilities, along with their families, to engage their senses through being active outdoors.

We will follow a route around the park, stopping at designated Sensory Highlights and offering a range of activities for children to engage in, whilst encouraging them to use their senses to gain a truly immersive experience.

We finish our walk in the sensory garden which you can explore at your leisure, after which you are welcome to stay and enjoy the playground.

There is a disabled toilet, and the route is fully accessible for wheelchairs and those with visual impairments.

Free parking is available in Chalks Road Car Park or in surrounding roads.
