Starting at Crickhowell we follow the Beacons Way to Cwmdu, Bwlch, and across the historic Llangynidr Bridge.

We return along the banks of the River Usk and the towpath of the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal, before joining the Usk Valley Walk back to Crickhowell Bridge.

As hill walks go, this is not an especially difficult walk, but is quite challenging.

Contribution to petrol 10p per mile.

 

Challenging - suitable for experienced walkers able to walk longer distances over mixed terrain and gradients. Likely to include stiles; brisk pace. Accessible by public transport Take a packed lunch Toilets Walk repeated during the festival Wheelchair friendly Nature and wildlife
