Backwell Lake Nature Reserve is a vital habitat for birds, bats and insects.

Birds include mute swan, grey herons and egrets. The footpath circling the lake gives plenty of opportunities to photograph wildlife in their natural environment and wide range of wild flowers can also be found.


Fairly easy - mainly flat on paved surfaces with features such as steps; gentle pace. Nature and wildlife
