Join Bristol City Council’s Public Rights of Way Team as we walk a length of the iconic River Avon along the Severn Way Bristol Link path.
Starting and finishing at the historic Lamplighters Pub in Shirehampton, we will travel alongside the river upstream to Sea Mills railway station, before looping back along rights of way through Shirehampton Park Golf Club, and climbing the ascent to Penpole Point, an ancient shipping marker in the grounds of Kings Weston House.
We will then return to Lamplighters Pub via Shirehampton High Street.
