Bristol has 45 bridges that span the main waterways of the city which can be crossed on foot.
Is it possible to walk across all of them without crossing the same bridge twice.
We will cover six of these bridges near the centre of Bristol in a circular loop, highlighting points of interest along the way and stopping for short information breaks.
Starting at Millennium Square, explore and walk across the floating harbour, covering the bridges listed below:
1. Pero’s Bridge (known as the horn bridge)
2. Prince Street Bridge (one way traffic for cyclists)
3. Bathurst Lock Swing Bridge
4. Bedminster Bridge (there are two adjacent parallel bridges: the Bedminster Old Bridge which is pink and cream, and the eastern, second Southbound Bridge which is the more modern version.
5. Langton Street Bridge (known as the Banana Bridge because of the colour!)
6. Redcliffe Bascule Bridge
