This is an accessible walk to explore Bristol’s oldest cemetery and discover the history behind its beautiful listed landscape, grade 2* historic buildings, and hear some of the stories of those remembered in the landscape. Come and join our expert guide for an informal Sunday morning wander around our lovely site. The guide will tell you about the cemetery’s history, show you some interesting or unusual symbols and graves, point out some of our more well-known residents and tell you a few amusing stories of the less well known. Meet your guide at the shop by the East Lodge. Donations for the tour are very welcome as Arnos Vale Cemetery is cared for by an independent charitable trust and receives no regular government or city council funding.
