We start at the bus stop for Fairfield School at the bottom of Purdown.
The walk starts with a short but moderate climb to the ridge to enjoy panoramic views over East Bristol and to the South.
From there we pass through Long Wood where we can spot wooden wildlife-themed sculptures.
Then we will partly double-back by road to Cheswick Village to the Boston Tea Party to purchase refreshments (optional) and use the facilities.
Afterwards we will catch a range of buses back – 72 to Filton Avenue and Gloucester road or the 10/11 to Horfield Leisure Centre and Southmead Hospital.
