The Carers Support Centre offer a range of free support services to unpaid carers – anyone supporting a family member or a friend who couldn’t do without their help.
This includes parent carers who care for their children who have any disabilities or additional needs.
Our ‘walk & talk’ service is designed to enhance carers’ health and wellbeing. By engaging in gentle exercise in nature and connecting with other carers, participants can find respite and friendship.
Our aim is to deliver a series of friendly walks where unpaid carers can share their experiences, enjoy nature, and learn about free support services available for carers.
Beyond the walks, we offer ongoing support so participants can continue walking with other carers, maintaining their connection with nature and each other while enjoying the benefits of exercise.
