Come and experience the many benefits of walking meditation with this free guided session!
Suitable for complete newcomers as well as those with meditation experience.
Walking meditation has a multitude of mental and physical benefits. It can:
- reduce stress
- enhance focus
- promote cardiovascular health
- improve energy
- increase lung capacity
- bring more positivity into your life.
We begin with some deep breathing and gentle yoga warm up exercises, before the main walk featuring a special technique to calm the mind and help bring inner peace, happiness and contentment. We end with some relaxing yoga stretches, followed by a seated meditation to deepen the experience.
Tea and biscuits will be served afterwards if you wish to stay and chat or simply enjoy relaxing in the park!
Please wear comfortable clothing, light walking shoes or trainers, and bring water and something to sit on (such as a small towel) if you wish.
