Walking Tennis is an excellent way to take up tennis or to get back into tennis activities.
The rules are slightly adapted so that the ball can bounce twice before being hit back and you can only walk when on court.
The balls used also travel slower and bounce more appropriately for walking tennis.
The sessions are led by trained coaches that provide a suitable warm up that focusses on strength and balance.
Organised activities are then provided to help you improve which are then followed by some very friendly games of doubles.
There will be walking tennis sessions provided across all of our parks courts in Bristol this summer with session dates and times available soon.
