Description

A two hour stroll around Clifton Downs in conversation with a range of University of Bristol researchers. The topic – how can cutting edge research best serve the world responsibly? The walking conversation, hosted by Kilter’s Oliver Langdon, will be punctuated with pauses for observations and stories associated with landmarks that we pass. The stopping points will provide a scaffold for the conversation: a perspective or provocation to tease open honest sharing, brave ideas and fresh insights. When it comes to addressing issues of climate change, social equality and the future of our children, everyone is an expert. There is no hierarchy as we walk this talk, and the 10+ academics on this walk are keen to hear from you! At the end of the walk, everyone will be directed to a nearby pub if they wish to continue a conversation.
