As part of Bristol Walk Fest, Walking in Lockdown invites walkers to come and share their stories of this experience and to consider how we can keep the momentum going after the pandemic. What lessons have we learned about walking, particularly in and around Bristol? How can we improve the experience? And how can we share it?

Tickets are now available here.

Walking in Lockdown is part of the Active in Lockdown research project between University of Bristol and Knowle West Media Centre. Together they are looking to record and save for posterity one of the few positive aspects of the Covid-19 pandemic: the huge surge in active leisure (cycling, running, walking, or any other form of human-powered mobility) in Bristol and the surrounding area during England’s lockdowns. More information around this important project can be found here
