Moving along the edges and by the lake in St George’s Park, we will learn how common wild plants are traditionally used in recipes and remedies.
We will learn what these plants feel like, look like and taste like to build confidence in finding and using wild food and medicine around us.
What to bring: a notepad if you like to draw or take notes, comfortable and weather appropriate shoes/ clothes and a drink of water.
Travel: buses from the city centre include 44, 16, 43 and 45.
There are gates and railings to lock up bikes and there is some free residential parking in surrounding residential roads.
Accessibility: this walk will be slow paced, but may involve some muddy paths.
