Description

Come and appreciate the wonderful birdsong at the start of the day with an early morning guided walk at Great Avon Wood.

The woodland, hedgerows and open country are ideal for a mix of woodland and countryside birds.

On this walk, Ed will be helping everyone to listen to particular birds and perhaps learn one or two of the common sounds, while enjoying the wonderful views and rolling landscape at the site.

We hope to hear birds such as blackbird, blackcap, robin, song thrush, skylark and chiffchaff. It is also a chance to simply connect to nature at this time of day.

Ed Drewitt is no stranger to an early start and over the past 20 years has been showing people birds and helping others to hear and identify their songs.

Ed is a freelance naturalist and works across the west showing people wildlife.
