Join our community ecologist for a stroll around the streets of Lockleaze, identifying wildflowers, learning fascinating facts, and annotating them on the pavement.
We will be looking for the overlooked plants that grow under our feet, between the cracks in the pavements or next to the path.
These ‘weeds’ are actually our native wildflowers, and carry a rich cultural heritage including folklore and medicinal/ecological benefits.
We will be identifying these plants along our walk, then using chalk to write their name and interesting facts on the pavement.
