Description

Join Gloucestershire Cricket Foundation for a fun, social, and inclusive session of Walking Cricket: a slower-paced version of the game designed for older adults and people of all abilities.

Participants will enjoy batting, bowling, and fielding with soft balls and lightweight bats in a safe, welcoming environment.

Games last around an hour and are played in mixed teams, with roles often rotated to keep everyone involved.

Walking Cricket promotes physical activity, mental wellbeing, and community connection while providing a relaxed, friendly atmosphere where everyone can participate regardless of experience.

Come along to try this unique twist on cricket, meet new people, stay active, and experience the joy of sport in a supportive and engaging setting.

No prior cricket experience is needed, just a willingness to have fun and get moving.
